GeShiDo’s funding model is about more than just funding single agencies or projects, and it’s not about making a donation and walking away. We believe that by connecting funders with industry experts—and then funding an ecosystem of solutions—we can make breakthrough change.
How your donation is put to work:
GeShiDo Foundation experts will curate the funding opportunities that have the most promise to move 1,000,000 people from crisis to stability in three years. We can do this together. Your investment of $1,000,000/year for three years towards any one of the three crisis areas will create the working capital that agencies and businesses need to scale their solutions from current state to full market penetration
We can amplify your other funding because we will be addressing the challenges in the environment in which your current grantees are operating. By taking an ecosystem-funding approach, we are demonstrating that there is a way to ensure warm handoffs between different funding schemes. More importantly, we can weed out duplication because the organizations that are funded are coordinating their efforts, ensuring that those who need the services don’t fall through the cracks.
